We will head towards the traditional town of Chinchero for a demonstration of ancestral textile weaving. Then, we will visit the circular terraces of Moray, used as an agricultural lab by the Incas, and finish at the Maras salt mines, where salt has been extracted artisanally since pre-Inca times. Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

We travel to the fertile Sacred Valley. We will explore the impressive ruins and craft market of Pisac, enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, and visit the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, we board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) to check into our hotel.

The big day! We take the shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu for an early entry. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour exploring the most important temples, plazas, and sectors of this wonder of the world. Then, take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch (on your own) and board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport awaits to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

We depart very early (04:00 AM) towards the south of Cusco. After a warm breakfast, we start our hike to Vinicunca, the famous Mountain of Seven Colors. Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Ausangate and local wildlife (alpacas and llamas). We reach the summit for amazing photos, then hike back down for lunch before returning to Cusco around 04:30 PM.
