Below are the details for the 4-day Manu National Park tour:
Cusco (Hotel pickup and final drop-off in Cusco city center)
05:00 AM (Early departure to avoid traffic and maximize forest activities)
The best time to visit Manu is during the dry season, from May to October. Rains are less frequent, which makes road and river transport easier and increases the chances of spotting birds and mammals. However, the jungle can be visited year-round.
Yes, the Peruvian Ministry of Health highly recommends the yellow fever vaccine for anyone traveling to tropical rainforest areas. We suggest getting vaccinated at least 10 days before your trip and carrying your international certificate of vaccination with you.
Deep inside Manu National Park, cellular signal and internet are practically non-existent. At the lodges (Pilcopata Inn and Amazon Manu Lodge), electricity is generated via solar panels or generators during limited hours (usually in the afternoon and evening) to recharge camera and phone batteries.
We recommend light-colored, lightweight long-sleeve shirts and long pants (dark colors attract mosquitoes). Additionally, it is essential to apply insect repellent with at least 40% DEET on exposed skin and wear long socks to tuck your pants in during jungle walks.
No, this 4-day tour is designed for travelers of all ages with a low to moderate physical requirement. Walks through the forest and Machuwasi Lagoon are conducted at a relaxed pace on flat terrain. Adventure activities like zip-lining and rappelling are optional and comply with all safety standards.
Buen tour, bien organizado.
🌧️ Sade.
🐒 Apinat.
🌳 Jättimäiset puut.
Ja minä, joka en tiedä sademetsistä mitään, olin ihan järkyttyneenä koko ajan (hyvällä tavalla).
