The Inka Jungle tour is a circuit tour with adventure sports (mountain biking, canoeing, zip-lining and hiking) for 4 days, with the final destination being Machu Picchu. Optionally we offer access to an additional mountain: “Montaña Vieja” or “Huayna Picchu”.
The Premium version of the Inka Jungle tour is a personalized service that allows you to do the tour in small groups (6 on average). This version includes substantial upgrades to all the services provided (transportation, lodging, food, etc.)
It is the recommended option for couples, families and groups of friends who prefer privacy or a more comfortable experience while still having an adventure. Although it may seem demanding, this tour is done by people of all ages without any complications.
The tour starts around 6:00 am with the pick up and transportation of the guests in direction to the passage, Abra Málaga (14110 ft/4300 m asl) This is where we will begin the descent by bicycle. After approximately 3 hours of descending across beautiful views and fruit fields we arrive at the town of Santa Maria. Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we have the opportunity to raft (+$30 at booking) for about 3 hours in one of the best stretches of the Vilcanota River. This is incredibly enjoyable, however we only offer it during the dry season in Cusco (April-December).
In the evening we stay at a comfortable hostel where you have commodities like Internet and hot water and can enjoy a beautiful view of Cusco Region’s spectacular high jungle.

We will also be able to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the Cusco Region: different species of exotic birds, a wide range of orchids, and various bananas, oranges, avocados, coffee, etc. We will be in the “jungle eyebrow” of the Amazon, one of the richest and biologically diverse areas on the planet.
In the afternoon we arrive at the thermal baths of Cocalmayo, where we enjoy hours in this famous resort of medicinal thermal waters. After this our guide bides us farewell and leaves us inside the archaeological complex so that each participant has time to explore and take photographs. Travelers who planned ahead and were able to purchase a ticket for one of the additional mountains, Huaynapicchu or Old Mountain (+$15 at booking), will enjoy a spectacular aerial view of the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu at its best.
