Chimoma Tour

Espero visitarlos pronto.

The Inka Jungle Tour was certainly an unforgettable experience! From descending down the mountain pass to rafting and ziplining, I’m not really sure what I enjoyed more! All in all, the guide was especially knowledgeable and pretty much everything went smoothly along the trip. Can’t recommend enough to anyone who wants to get a more authentic tour experience in Peru!

The Salkantay trek was an unforgettable experience! The journey through the Salkantay pass and the breathtaking landscapes of the andes was truly awe-inspiring. The guides were knowledgeable and supportive, ensuring everyone's safety and comfort throughout the trek. The accommodations and meals provided were excellent, especially considering the remote locations we stayed in. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer more frequent breaks during the trek for those who may need extra rest. Overall, it was an incredible adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a challenging and rewarding trekking experience in Peruuu!

Had an amazing experience on the Salkantay Trek with InkaJungleTour! The views were stunning, and the guides were fantastic. The trek was challenging but so rewarding, especially when we finally reached Machu Pichu. I was happy with the several options during meals.

I did two tours - the first was 2 days to Machu Pichuu. We biked downhill along a road in the mountains, scenery was beautiful. Then we went to a small coffee farm, this was really cool, we got shown the whole process of making coffee right there and got to sample the coffee, and we had a tour of the property which included lots of different fruit trees - I found this whole part really interesting. We went hot pools, for a nice little chill out time, picturesque here, then took the car to the point where the train goes up to Aguas Calientes and we walked along the train tracks to the town. Another very picturesque walk, nice to take it slow up here (by walking instead of train) and take in all the scenery. Stayed the night in Aguas Calientes. Really recommend going up Machu Picchu mountain, which is what they suggested, I found it quite tough, but totally worth it, and even if it's cloudy still do, it's very atmospheric and there will be periods where you can see Machu Picchu, especially heading back down when it's clearing more. We had most of the day to spend at Machu Picchu and got the train back from Aguas Clientes that evening. I thought this was a really nice varied tour, we got a lot into the 2 days but it didn’t feel overly exhausting. I also appreciated how we had the whole day at Machu Picchu as I think depending on the tour/company sometimes you only have a few hours or the morning which I think would feel rushed and you definitely want the time to appreciate the whole place. I definitely feel the tour operators care a lot about customising tours to best suit who’s on them, and really want the people to have a really good time. I also appreciated that they noticed I was a little nervous about the biking so gave me some extra guidance. The second tour I went on was a day trip, in the morning we went to a rainbow mountain, but not the main tourist one, another one, we were the only people there for most of the time we spent there, with one other group arriving as we were leaving. Very beautiful landscapes and varied - with rock formations and the rainbow streaked mountains, plus the drive there and back passes little houses and farms, llamas and sheep. We stopped for lunch, which was really delicious, then we drove to Q’eswachaka - the last Inca bridge. This is really cool, very impressive, the history is really interesting, I recommend doing some extra reading about it before visiting so you appreciate it fully. A lot more driving on this tour, although you walk around both the sites, it takes a little while in the car to get to and from them. But it was fine with me because I was pretty tired from Machu Picchu. They’re both really cool sites to see, if you’re interested in seeing them both this is a good option for a day trip.

Maravillosa experiencia.

We booked the 4/3 days Inka Jungle Tour and couldn't have been happier. Everything was very well organized and executed. Our guide Tony was fantastic, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and share his passion for his culture and Peruvian history with us. The meals were all amazing and the accommodations were nice. This tour is slightly more expensive than some of the other tours we came across but it is well worth it. Highly recommended!

I took the tour with my friend and as we heard so many disastrous story from travelling agencies in Peru we were rather very reserve to this on as well. It was quite a surprise for us to find out that Inkana Jungle Tour operates with 100% professional equipment and well-trained guides. I can recommend Oscar, as he not only provided us with inside information about peruvian culture but was also great company on our 4-day trip. I would recommend the mountain biking tour for people who really like adventures and are not afraid of getting wet or dirty - it can be quite demanding sometimes :)

I had a lot of experience with taking tours around Peru and Bolivia and I need to admit the service of Inkana Jungle Tour was so far the most reliable one. During my tour I was equipped with truly professional equipment and got clear instructions on how to use it. The guides are professional as well and ful of joy. Actually that is what I liked the most, very relaxed atmosphere and lot of fun. Recommend

Description

The 5-day Cusco and Machu Picchu tour is a group service that includes the visit of the main attractions of Cusco combining the following circuits: City Tour, Maras Moray, Rainbow Mountain, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

Note: It is recommended to have a minimum of 6 days in total, since you must add one day for the arrival in Cusco and another day for the departure.

Itinerary

Day 1Acclimitization + Cusco City Tour

We start the tour with the pick up of the participants in their respective hotels to make the City Tour Cusco (around 1:00 pm). This tour allows you to visit the main tourist attractions of the capital of the Inca empire among which stand out: Temple of the Sun “Qorikancha”, Santo Domingo, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pucapucara. Around 7 pm we return to Cusco.

Day 2Chinchero + Maras + Moray

In this circuit we will be able to contemplate 3 tourist attractions: the ancient village of Chinchero, the agricultural laboratory of Moray and the salt mines of Maras. It includes short hikes with impressive views of the Vilcanota mountain range, through extensive fields of crops (quinoa, potato, among others).

We will visit Chinchero, which maintains ancestral customs and ancient constructions almost intact. From this place you will have a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains of Salkantay, Veronica and Soray. We will also arrive at the impressive circular terraces of Moray built to adapt and control food production by experimenting crops at different altitudes. And finally we will pass through Maras, a picturesque village that is characterized by its active salt mines (salt mines) dating from pre-Inca times.

Day 3Sacred Valley

The Sacred Valley was very important in agricultural production during the Inca empire. It is here where the large grain corn is produced to this day, among other agricultural products of recognized quality throughout the world.

This famous tour allows us to visit the tourist attractions of Pisac and Ollantaytambo while crossing the entire valley, with its impressive landscapes, imposing snow-capped mountains, pleasant climate, fertile lands and megalithic cultural evidence.

Around 7 pm, from Ollantaytambo, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in a comfortable accommodation. The next morning we will visit Machu Picchu.

Day 4Machu Picchu

This day we will enter the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Early in the morning we will go up from Aguas Calientes by bus or walking (1,200 steps) to enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours accompanied by our certified guide.

Also, you will have time available to rest and take the necessary photos, after the tour you can return to the town of Aguas Calientes, either walking or by bus, at the time previously coordinated for the return. Remember that the train services for the return are already scheduled and it is necessary to be half an hour before at the train station. The train will take you from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo where you will be picked up by a transport that will finally bring you back to Cusco.

Day 5Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca

Around 6:30 a.m., we’ll arrive at the Hanchipacha community where we’ll enjoy a tasty breakfast before starting our hike through the colorful landscapes of the Cusco Andes. The hike goes through Andean communities still untouched by the modern world, letting you breathe in the fresh mountain air the whole way.

By around 11:00 a.m., we’ll reach the summit of Vinicunca Mountain, where you’ll get to see the Rainbow Mountain. It’s full of mineral sediments, creating the different colored stripes that highlight the natural beauty of this region. You’ll have time to rest, take photos, record videos for memories, and enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the entire colorful valley.
