Boleto Turistico of Cusco
It is a ticket created and administered by the Committee of Integrated Cultural Tourism Services Cusco (COSITUC). This organization is made up of the Provincial Municipality of Cusco, the Directorate of Culture Cusco, and the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism. The ticket gives you the possibility to enter 16 sites in and around the city of Cusco (including those in the nearby valleys such as the South Valley and the Sacred Valley of the Incas).
The attractions you can visit and the time you have to visit them
With the full version of the ticket, there are 16 tourist attractions that can be visited within a 10-day time timespan; within Cusco and its surrounding region.
The ticket is valid for 10 calendar days and you choose to visit all or some of the following sites, as you please.
The sites are as follows:
- Museo Histórico Regional
- Museo de Arte contemporáneo
- Museo de Arte Popular Pisac
- Museo de Sitio de Qorikancha
- Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo
- Monumento al Inca
- Sacsayhuamán
- Q’enqo
- Pukapukara
- Tambomachay
- Písac
- Ollantaytambo
- Chinchero
- Moray
- Tipon
- Piquillacta
Classification of the Boleto Touristico and price
There are several types of tickets available, which are classified by the type of visitor and by the number of attractions they wish to visit. For those who pay for full access (to 16 sites), the ticket types are as follows:
- Boleto Turístico for all of Cusco (130 Soles): With this ticket you can enter all the places mentioned in the above list of tourist attractions.
- Boleto Turístico for foreign students (70 Soles): This ticket is for foreign students who can prove their student status with a student identification or letter. The student must also be 25 years old or less.
- Boleto Turístico del Cusco Integral para turistas nacionales (BIN): es un tipo de boleto promocional para turistas peruanos. Quienes compren este boleto sólo debe llevar consigo su documento nacional de identidad (DNI).
- Boleto Turístico del Cusco Integral para estudiantes nacionales (BEN): quienes tienen este ticket deberán acreditar su condición con carnet de estudiante o partida de nacimiento según sea el caso.
Boletos Turísticos Parciales
Pero también existe la posibilidad de que compre un boleto de forma parcial de acuerdo a los atractivos que dese visitar. A continuación le detallamos los circuitos armados para que pueda elegir. Los mismos están divididos por zonas. Tenga que los boletos son sólo por un día de vigencia y no son una opción para estudiantes y menores de edad.
Circuito I: con este ticket ingresa los sitios arqueológicos que se están ubicados en el parque arqueológico se Sacsayhuamán, y son los siguientes:
- Sacsayhuamán
- Qenko
- Tambomachay
- Pukapukara
Circuito II: este ticket le permite conocer los atractivos de interés al interior del centro histórico de la ciudad de Cusco, que son:
- Museo Histórico Regional
- Museo de Arte contemporáneo
- Museo de Arte Popular
- Museo de Sitio de Qorikancha
- Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo
- Monumento al Inca Pachacuteq
Circuito III: y con este ticket puede visitar los centros arqueológicos que se encuentran en el Valle Sagrado de los incas. Estos son:
- Pisac
- Ollantaytambo
- Chinchero
- Moray
