Itinerary

Day 1Iquitos - Amazon Lodge

Your first day on the Peruvian Amazon tour starts at 8:00 AM with a departure from Iquitos. You’ll travel by car or mototaxi for 15 minutes to the Bellavista port, where you’ll board a boat for a journey of about 1.5 hours to your lodge deep in the jungle.

At 9:00 AM, an exciting visit to Monkey Island awaits, followed by a cultural encounter with the native Yagua community. Upon arrival at the lodge, you’ll be assigned your cabin and then enjoy a delicious lunch at 12:00 PM.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to observe gray and pink dolphins in their natural habitat. The day will end with a sunset observation, followed by dinner. Around 8:00 PM, you’ll experience a fascinating night safari, where you’ll hear the symphony of nature and discover the wildlife that inhabits the region.

Day 2Walking and exploring

On the second day of your adventure in the Peruvian Amazon, the day starts at 5:00 AM with an exciting sunrise tour. Get ready to spot monkeys and other animals beginning their daybreak activities. Around 7:00 AM, you’ll enjoy a nutritious breakfast to recharge your energy. Afterward, you’ll embark on a jungle hike in search of more wildlife and the chance to discover the ecosystem at its peak.

At 11:00 AM, you’ll return to the lodge to relax and prepare for lunch. In the afternoon, choose between exploring by boat or taking an additional hike to continue uncovering the jungle’s secrets. You’ll return to the lodge before dark to rest and enjoy a delicious dinner. Finally, at 8:00 PM, you’ll experience the thrill of a night safari, a magical opportunity to observe wildlife coming to life under the cover of night.

Day 3Community visit to learn about their customs

On the third day of our tour, we start early at 5:00 a.m. with a spectacular sunrise tour, where you’ll witness the jungle waking up with the first rays of sunlight. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to a riverside community. There, you’ll get an up-close look at the main customs and traditions of the local inhabitants, immersing yourself in their traditional way of life. At noon, we’ll stop for lunch, followed by our return to Iquitos. Finally, we’ll arrive in the city around 4:00 p.m., marking the end of our services and leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Peruvian Amazon.
