Description

The Cusco 7 x 7 tour is a circuit created for travelers who do not have much time in Cusco. We organize a week tour that allows you to visit the main 7 tourist attractions in a private service, including Machu Picchu

This tour allow you to combine history, archaeology, agriculture, gastronomy, sightseeing and adventure sports. Here is the description of the route and places we will visit during this 7 days / 6 nights tour:

Itinerary

Day 1 Acclimatization + Cusco City Tour

Depending on your arrival time in Cusco, the City Tour will be coordinated for the morning or afternoon. We will make sure that your first encounter with the city of Cusco is as comfortable as possible and that it becomes the love at first sight that most travelers describe.

This first day tour (group service) allows you to visit the principal tourist attractions in Cusco like the Sun Temple (Qorikancha), the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman , Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pucapucara.

The City Tour starts with the pick up of the participants in their respective hotels. Later, they transfer to a tourist bus to visit the mentioned attractions and the tour ends with the return in your hotel or in the San Francisco Plaza (3 minutes from the main square).

Note: If the participant arrives in Cusco past noon (12:00 pm), he will have to start this tour on the next day.

Day 2Tour Chinchero + Maras + Moray

This tour is characterized by beautiful landscapes and the visit of 3 other tourist attractions such as the ruins and platforms of Chinchero, the agricultural laboratory of Moray and the salineras of Maras (salt mines).

During this day, we will visit these 3 towns, making a tour that combines a short walk (about 2 hours) and a bike ride (about 2 hours) through picturesque trails, beautiful landscapes and cultivated fields (quinoa, potato, among others).

Chinchero is an Inca town that still maintains its roots and customs. Its inhabitants are still living in the Inca constructions almost intact. From there, we will have a beautiful view of the snowcapped Salkantay, Veronica and Soray.

Moray allows us to discover the magical agricultural laboratory that the Incas built to adapt and control the food production around Cusco. There are incredible circular terraces that were used as a place of agricultural research designed to experiment with crops at different altitudes.

Maras is an Andean town and is characterized by its salt mines (Salineras) dating from pre-Inca times and its magnificent views of mountains with perpetual snow

Day 3Tour Sacred Valley

The Sacred Valley was very important in agricultural production during the Inca Empire. It is here that large grain maize (corn) is produced up to now among other agricultural products.

This famous Inca valley is one of the main tourist attractions of the Andean region due to its impressive landscape, its imposing snowed peaks, its pleasant climate, its fertile lands with abundant water, its ancient cultural evidences and because it offers diverse possibilities for the practice of adventure tourism.

During this tour we will be able to enjoy a mix of culture, art and architecture when visiting the archaeological centers, the market of Pisac and the Inca citadel of Ollantaytambo.

Days 4-7Tour Inka Jungle Premium

The Inka Jungle Tour is the favorite tour for young people from all over the world who come to Cusco in search of adventures.

It is a 4-day excursion that combines adventure sports such as trekking, mountain biking, rafting, and zip lining among other activities, until we reach the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu. . During these days, we will go through beautiful Andean landscapes and high jungle, where we can see plantations of coffee, coca, bananas, among other fruits of the area.

This tour is an alternative to the classic Inca Trail tour but with the same final destination: Machu Picchu. In this tour there are no camps, since accommodations and food is made in lodging houses.
