Chimoma Tour

Espero visitarlos pronto.

The Inka Jungle Tour was certainly an unforgettable experience! From descending down the mountain pass to rafting and ziplining, I’m not really sure what I enjoyed more! All in all, the guide was especially knowledgeable and pretty much everything went smoothly along the trip. Can’t recommend enough to anyone who wants to get a more authentic tour experience in Peru!

The Salkantay trek was an unforgettable experience! The journey through the Salkantay pass and the breathtaking landscapes of the andes was truly awe-inspiring. The guides were knowledgeable and supportive, ensuring everyone's safety and comfort throughout the trek. The accommodations and meals provided were excellent, especially considering the remote locations we stayed in. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer more frequent breaks during the trek for those who may need extra rest. Overall, it was an incredible adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a challenging and rewarding trekking experience in Peruuu!

Had an amazing experience on the Salkantay Trek with InkaJungleTour! The views were stunning, and the guides were fantastic. The trek was challenging but so rewarding, especially when we finally reached Machu Pichu. I was happy with the several options during meals.

I did two tours - the first was 2 days to Machu Pichuu. We biked downhill along a road in the mountains, scenery was beautiful. Then we went to a small coffee farm, this was really cool, we got shown the whole process of making coffee right there and got to sample the coffee, and we had a tour of the property which included lots of different fruit trees - I found this whole part really interesting. We went hot pools, for a nice little chill out time, picturesque here, then took the car to the point where the train goes up to Aguas Calientes and we walked along the train tracks to the town. Another very picturesque walk, nice to take it slow up here (by walking instead of train) and take in all the scenery. Stayed the night in Aguas Calientes. Really recommend going up Machu Picchu mountain, which is what they suggested, I found it quite tough, but totally worth it, and even if it's cloudy still do, it's very atmospheric and there will be periods where you can see Machu Picchu, especially heading back down when it's clearing more. We had most of the day to spend at Machu Picchu and got the train back from Aguas Clientes that evening. I thought this was a really nice varied tour, we got a lot into the 2 days but it didn’t feel overly exhausting. I also appreciated how we had the whole day at Machu Picchu as I think depending on the tour/company sometimes you only have a few hours or the morning which I think would feel rushed and you definitely want the time to appreciate the whole place. I definitely feel the tour operators care a lot about customising tours to best suit who’s on them, and really want the people to have a really good time. I also appreciated that they noticed I was a little nervous about the biking so gave me some extra guidance. The second tour I went on was a day trip, in the morning we went to a rainbow mountain, but not the main tourist one, another one, we were the only people there for most of the time we spent there, with one other group arriving as we were leaving. Very beautiful landscapes and varied - with rock formations and the rainbow streaked mountains, plus the drive there and back passes little houses and farms, llamas and sheep. We stopped for lunch, which was really delicious, then we drove to Q’eswachaka - the last Inca bridge. This is really cool, very impressive, the history is really interesting, I recommend doing some extra reading about it before visiting so you appreciate it fully. A lot more driving on this tour, although you walk around both the sites, it takes a little while in the car to get to and from them. But it was fine with me because I was pretty tired from Machu Picchu. They’re both really cool sites to see, if you’re interested in seeing them both this is a good option for a day trip.

Maravillosa experiencia.

We booked the 4/3 days Inka Jungle Tour and couldn't have been happier. Everything was very well organized and executed. Our guide Tony was fantastic, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and share his passion for his culture and Peruvian history with us. The meals were all amazing and the accommodations were nice. This tour is slightly more expensive than some of the other tours we came across but it is well worth it. Highly recommended!

I took the tour with my friend and as we heard so many disastrous story from travelling agencies in Peru we were rather very reserve to this on as well. It was quite a surprise for us to find out that Inkana Jungle Tour operates with 100% professional equipment and well-trained guides. I can recommend Oscar, as he not only provided us with inside information about peruvian culture but was also great company on our 4-day trip. I would recommend the mountain biking tour for people who really like adventures and are not afraid of getting wet or dirty - it can be quite demanding sometimes :)

I had a lot of experience with taking tours around Peru and Bolivia and I need to admit the service of Inkana Jungle Tour was so far the most reliable one. During my tour I was equipped with truly professional equipment and got clear instructions on how to use it. The guides are professional as well and ful of joy. Actually that is what I liked the most, very relaxed atmosphere and lot of fun. Recommend

Description

The adventure tour in the southern route of Peru lasts 10 days and crosses five different regions, starting in Lima in the direction of Cusco.

The circuit starts with your pick up at the airport or hotel, prior coordination. This circuit is recommended for travelers in good physical condition, since in only ten days you will be able to visit the main tourist attractions of the southern route of Peru.

Itinerario

Día 1Lima - Ica

We start the tour by picking you up from your hotel, very early, at 4:00 a.m. to board the transportation heading to our first destination, the Ica region, where you can enjoy a visit to the “Peninsula of Paracas” for about three hours. After lunch, we will go to the Oasis of Huacachina, where you can experience adventure sports such as sandboarding and a ride in the famous dune buggies. Just before sunset, we will be transferred to our hotel in the city of Ica, where we will spend the night.

Día 2Ica - Nazca

In this mysterious city, we’ll marvel at the renowned view of the Nazca Lines during a pre-arranged flight. Following that, we’ll explore the archaeological site of Cahuachi, home to one of the largest pyramids in the region, aiming to unravel its connection with the famous lines. Our journey also includes a visit to the Chauchilla cemetery and the remarkable Cantalloc aqueducts, showcasing the advanced hydraulic engineering of this ancient culture.

As the night falls, our expedition continues towards Arequipa (approximately 10 hours).

Día 3Arequipa (City Tour)

In the morning, after settling into a comfortable hotel, we’ll embark on a guided tour of the city of Arequipa. The itinerary includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas (one of Peru’s most beautiful), the Cathedral (a showcase of 19th-century Peruvian architecture), temples, colonial mansions, countryside, old mills, and more.

In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore the streets of the historic city center, do some shopping, and ultimately relax at our hotel.

Día 4Arequipa - Puno

From Arequipa, we’ll be transported towards the Puno region, where we’ll board boats to reach the floating islands of Uros, located in the middle of Lake Titicaca. In this place, we’ll discover the famous technique of “creating” floating islands and witness the fascinating way of life of the people living on these artificial islands.

In the afternoon, we’ll be transported towards Amantani Island, where we can take a leisurely walk to the highest point of the island (4150 meters above sea level) to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the world’s highest lake.

In the evening, we’ll savor a typical dinner immersed in the ambiance created by the native community of the island, where we’ll spend the night.

Día 5Puno - Cusco

After breakfast, we’ll be transported by boat to Juliaca, and then continue our journey by bus to Cusco. Along the way, we’ll visit attractions like the ancient Inca temple of Raqchi, Andahuaylillas, and more. We’ll arrive in Cusco in the evening and stay at a comfortable hotel for rest.

Día 6Cusco (City tour)

After a restful break, around noon, we’ll kick off the classic city tour of Cusco, including visits to the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha) and nearby highlights like Sacsayhuamán, Qenko, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay.

Later, you’ll have free time to explore the famous museums, bars, and local attractions that Cusco offers in the evening.

Día 7Valle Sagrado - Aguas Calientes

This day, we begin our journey towards the “Sacred Valley,” allowing us to explore the picturesque town of Urubamba along the renowned Vilcanota River. The circuit includes a visit to the archaeological site of Pisac and its traditional craft market. After lunch, we’ll explore the ancient stone city of Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress that served as a gateway to this part of the valley.

Around 5:30 p.m., we’ll head to the train station, awaiting the service that will take us to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel at the base of the majestic Machu Picchu.

Día 8Machu Picchu - Cusco

On this day, we’ll explore the Machu Picchu citadel, starting the journey around 5 a.m. with transportation from the bus station to the entrance of the archaeological complex. Once inside, our professional guide will provide a detailed tour, followed by the enjoyment of the famous views of this world wonder.

After noon, we’ll descend to the town of Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch and await our return transportation, the train heading to Ollantaytambo. From there, we’ll take another bus that will ultimately bring us back to the city of Cusco.

Día 9Montaña de Colores (Vinicunca)

This day, we will visit the famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) and the Red Valley.

We will reach the peak of this tour, reaching altitudes between 4710 and 5200 meters above sea level, with renowned views of the mountain and the entire colorful valley.

We’ll return to Cusco in the evening to spend our last night in Cusco.

Día 10Cusco - Lima

The tenth day of our “Adventure in Southern Peru” tour concludes with pick-up from your hotel and transportation to the airport.
